Police Nab Notorious Bike Lifter Gang in Islamabad, Recover Six Stolen Motorbikes

Islamabad: Police in Islamabad have apprehended three members of a well-known bike lifting gang and retrieved six stolen motorcycles, according to a recent announcement by the Islamabad Capital Police.

The Koral police team utilized both technical and human resources to arrest Hamid, Bilawal Rasheed, and Nadeem Ali, who were wanted for their involvement in numerous bike thefts. The operation resulted in the recovery of six stolen bikes from the suspects.

Authorities have already registered cases against the individuals, and further investigation is ongoing. The arrests are part of an effort directed by DIG Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, to target criminal activities in the area.

The DIG emphasized the need for an effective crackdown on criminal elements and reiterated the commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
