Police Chief Meets Employees and Families, Orders Immediate Assistance

Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, engaged with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office to address their concerns and issued directives for prompt relief.

According to a statement by Punjab Police, the meeting focused on various financial assistance requests from police staff. Dr. Anwar instructed the DIG Welfare to provide aid to retired Constable Touseef ul Haq and Constable Tanveer ul Hassan. For Constable Laiq Abbas, directives were given to the AIG Welfare to ensure assistance.

Dr. Anwar also addressed the needs of the son of the late Head Constable Syed Athar Ali by ordering the DPO Layyah to take necessary action. Retired Constable Riaz Hussain’s request was directed to the CCPO Lahore for relief measures.

In addition to financial assistance, Dr. Anwar issued orders concerning discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare matters within the police force. These measures aim to support the police community and improve their working conditions.
