Pneumonia Outbreak Claims 12 Children in Punjab

Islamabad, Punjab is grappling with a severe pneumonia outbreak, which has resulted in the deaths of twelve children aged between two months and twelve years in the past twenty-four hours.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, there have been a total of four hundred and ninety-one new cases of pneumonia in Punjab within the same time frame. The disease, characterized by symptoms such as cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills, and breathing difficulties, continues to impact the health of children in the region alarmingly.

This recent surge in pneumonia cases and resulting fatalities underscores the urgent need for increased healthcare measures and awareness in Punjab to combat the spread of the disease.
