PMYP and SIA Unite to Empower Youth in Balochistan through Innovation

Islamabad: The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) has officially partnered with the Social Innovation Academy (SIA) to launch initiatives aimed at fostering social entrepreneurship among the youth of Balochistan. This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Letter of Intent by Rana Mashood, Chairman of PMYP, at a ceremony that symbolizes a new chapter for young change-makers in the region.

According to Press Information Department, the partnership will concentrate on the creation of social enterprises, engaging local youth in impactful projects, and promoting the exchange of knowledge across various sectors. PMYP and SIA are set to provide the youth with skills training, mentorship, and access to necessary resources, enabling them to tackle social challenges effectively.

“This collaboration will introduce programs that include workshops, incubators for budding social enterprises, and networking opportunities,” a spokesperson from SIA stated. The programs are designed to develop skills, connect young individuals with mentors, and offer resources essential for fostering innovation and leadership.

The initiative is also expected to drive economic growth and increase social cohesion in Balochistan by enhancing the capabilities of its young residents and integrating them into broader developmental efforts. The signing of the LOI marks a commitment to not just individual growth but also communal advancement, aiming to transform Balochistan into a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
