PML-N, PPP Continue Negotiations on Government Formation in Islamabad

Islamabad, In a continued effort to form a new government, representatives of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are set to meet for the fifth round of discussions today, Monday. This meeting follows closely on the heels of the fourth round of negotiations, which took place on Sunday and covered several critical principles for the establishment of a government.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the coordination committees of both parties have been actively engaging in talks to lay down the foundation for a collaborative government. The PML-N delegation includes Senator Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, and Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan. The PPP is represented by Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Sardar Bahadur Khan Sehar, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Shazi Khan.
