PML-N Azad Kashmir President Meets APHC Leaders, Discusses Kashmir Situation


Islamabad: Shah Ghulam Qadir, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir, today visited the Islamabad office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, meeting with Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other Hurriyat leaders.



According to Kashmir Media Service, during the meeting, Qadir offered condolences for the recent passing of prominent Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Ghulam Nabi Nowsheri, praying for his forgiveness and high status. The meeting primarily focused on the ongoing situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), with Qadir condemning the alleged atrocities and criticizing the Modi government’s policies that he claimed are aimed at altering the Muslim majority identity of the region.



Qadir reiterated the PML-N Azad Kashmir’s support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and committed to voicing the Kashmir issue at international forums until India acknowledges this right. He also pledged full participation in upcoming protest rallies and demonstrations organized by APHC in Karachi and Islamabad to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani.



The session also included a prayer meeting led by APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, where leaders mourned the deaths of relatives of Hurriyat leaders and prayed for the deceased and their families.
