Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination to expedite the completion of the Jinnah Medical Complex, underscoring its role in enhancing the healthcare infrastructure in the capital.
The prime minister’s instructions came during a meeting with Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Syed Mustafa Kamal. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing healthcare initiatives, according to a news release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Minister Kamal provided updates on various health projects in progress and presented proposals to improve medical facilities for patients in federally administered hospitals. The discussions emphasized the importance of improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services nationwide.
The minister also reported on the national polio eradication campaign. Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the importance of the campaign and called for continuous and effective monitoring to ensure its success.
The meeting reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing public health services and ensuring the timely execution of key health-related projects.
