PM Thanks Erdogan for Support Amid Pakistan-India Standoff


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his gratitude to President of Türkiye, Tayyip Erdogan, for his steadfast support during the recent Pakistan-India standoff. The Prime Minister’s acknowledgment comes in the wake of what was described as Pakistan’s overwhelming victory in the confrontation.



In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed the collective appreciation of the Pakistani populace towards their Turkish counterparts. He emphasized the strength of the bond between the two nations, highlighting the mutual respect and cooperation that underpin their relationship.



Further, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated his commitment to deepening the ties between Pakistan and Türkiye. He expressed a strong desire to work in close collaboration with President Erdogan to enhance the enduring connections of brotherhood and cooperation that exist between the two countries.
