Doha: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha for a one-day visit to the State of Qatar, accompanied by former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. The delegation was received at Doha Airport by Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz is scheduled to meet with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at Lusail Palace. The primary purpose of the visit is to convey condolences to the Amir, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar following the death of the former Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, are part of the official delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
