PM Shehbaz Sharif Visits Frontline Areas of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos


Pasrur: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the frontline areas of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos near Pasrur Garrison on Wednesday, displaying his support for the ongoing military efforts in the Maarka-e-Haq, or Battle for Truth. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed his commitment to the armed forces of Pakistan during this critical operation.



The prime minister, along with a delegation of senior government and military officials, met with officers and soldiers engaged in the operation. He acknowledged their dedication and resolve in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. Among those accompanying him were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu.



The visit is part of a broader initiative to show solidarity with all branches of the military. In the coming days, the prime minister plans to visit air and naval bases to engage with personnel from the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy.



In what has been described as a historic interaction, Pakistan Television (PTV) will broadcast the prime minister’s address to the officers and soldiers at the Pasrur Garrison later this evening. The address aims to reinforce national unity and bolster the morale of the nation’s defenders.



The visit underscores the government’s commitment to the military and its operations, as the prime minister seeks to assure continued support for Pakistan’s armed forces in their mission.
