Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated the Jinnah Square Murree Road Underpass project, a new infrastructure initiative aimed at facilitating smoother travel for local commuters.

During the inauguration ceremony, held in Islamabad, Prime Minister Sharif commended the efforts of Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the project’s contractor, and the Capital Development Authority team for their swift completion of the project in just 35 days.

Interior Minister Naqvi, speaking at the event, emphasized the government’s dedication to enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the Federal Capital. He outlined ongoing efforts, such as improvements in street lighting across the city.

Additionally, Naqvi revealed future plans to expand the bridge at Faizabad Chowk. He also discussed upcoming strategies to alleviate traffic congestion at Shaheen Chowk and Kashmir Chowk, signaling further developments in the city’s infrastructure.
