Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people in their quest for self-determination during his visit to Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s meeting with his AJK counterpart, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, was marked by a mutual resolve to continue standing shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also assured of Pakistan’s unconditional support for the Kashmir cause.
During the visit, the Prime Minister of AJK praised Shehbaz Sharif for his prompt visit to the region to express solidarity with those affected by recent torrential rains and snowfall. He highlighted the significance of the Prime Minister’s gesture as a symbol of the deep bond between the people of Pakistan and the Kashmiri community.
Furthermore, in a show of support, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, alongside the Prime Minister of AJK, distributed compensation cheques to those impacted by the adverse weather conditions in Muzaffarabad, reinforcing the government’s commitment to stand with the Kashmiris through all challenges.
