Beijing, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today encouraged the Chairman of China Northern Industry Corporation to invest in Pakistan’s communication projects, particularly the Karachi Circular Railway, during a meeting in Beijing. The Prime Minister emphasized his government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investment through initiatives like the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting underscored the strengthening of long-standing ties between Pakistan and China, with Prime Minister Sharif highlighting the ongoing efforts to attract foreign capital to boost economic development. The Chairman of China Northern Industry Corporation expressed appreciation for the speed and quality of projects undertaken under Prime Minister Sharif’s administration, reflecting the positive impact of bilateral cooperation on infrastructure development in Pakistan.
