Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the passing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and former Member of the National Assembly, Justice (Retired) Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema.
In a gesture of sympathy, the Prime Minister reached out via telephone to convey his condolences to the deceased’s brother, former Inspector General of Motorway Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema, and former Member of the National Assembly Dr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema.
During the call, Sharif offered prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased and extended his wishes for patience and fortitude to the grieving family.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the lasting impact of Justice Cheema’s political and public service contributions, stating they will be remembered.
