PM Shehbaz Sharif Emphasizes Child Rights and Development on World Children’s Day


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the rights, well-being, and development of children, urging collective efforts from all sectors of society. In a message released on World Children’s Day, which is observed today, the Prime Minister called upon parents, educators, civil society, and policymakers to foster an environment where every child feels loved, valued, and safe.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the day as a reminder of the shared responsibility to protect and uphold the rights of every child. He emphasized the importance of ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment for all children, regardless of their circumstances. The Prime Minister underscored the duty of society to provide children with the necessary facilities and opportunities to reach their full potential and contribute positively.



Several ceremonies emphasizing the unique needs of children and efforts to safeguard their rights are scheduled to be held across the country today. These events, organized by a variety of governmental and non-governmental organizations, aim to spotlight the importance of child rights and advocate for their protection.
