Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a strong and enduring friendship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting mutual respect, cooperation, and shared values as the foundation of their relationship. In his televised message on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s National Day, Sharif emphasized the countries’ collaborative efforts toward regional peace, stability, and development.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sharif praised the unique relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which extends beyond typical interstate interactions. He recalled how both nations have consistently supported each other during times of need, including natural disasters and crises, underlining the fraternal bond that exists between them.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s recurring support in stabilizing Pakistan’s economic situation, acknowledging these gestures as deeply impactful. He commended the visionary leadership of King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and the innovative strategies of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, which he said are steering Saudi Arabia towards modernity, innovation, and economic growth under Vision 2030.
Furthermore, Sharif highlighted Saudi Arabia’s role in leading the Muslim world and its efforts in promoting justice, equality, and peace. He praised the Kingdom’s initiatives in fostering interfaith dialogue and cooperation through various international platforms.
