PM Shehbaz-Led Administration Claims Economic Turnaround: Asif

Sialkot: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif asserted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government has successfully navigated Pakistan out of a financial crisis. Speaking at a ceremony in Sialkot, Asif highlighted the administration’s achievements, including a reduction in electricity tariffs and a recovering stock market, despite limited resources.

The Minister addressed concerns that Pakistan faced potential bankruptcy, attributing the nation’s economic stabilization to the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and their allied partners. He contrasted this with the recent crash in the American stock market, noting Pakistan’s market stability and growth.

In his speech, Asif critiqued the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, particularly pointing out alleged corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He emphasized that the PTI was removed through a no-confidence motion, leading to what he described as tireless efforts by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to improve the country’s situation.
