Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed authorities to ensure comprehensive support and facilitation for Pakistani pilgrims participating in the Hajj pilgrimage in 2025. During a meeting held in Islamabad, Sharif underscored the importance of treating pilgrims as “guests of Allah” and emphasized that any negligence in their service will not be tolerated.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the need for meticulous attention to accommodation, travel, and other essential services for the pilgrims. He stressed the importance of providing top-tier facilities to adequately train pilgrims for the Hajj journey.
The Prime Minister also directed that only officers with strong reputations be appointed for Hajj duties. He further insisted that the selection process for Muavineen, or assistants to the pilgrims, be conducted with transparency and merit as guiding principles.
