Dubai, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has landed in Dubai to participate in the 28th United Nations Conference of Parties (COP28).
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister was welcomed at Al-Maktoum Airport by the UAE’s Minister for Justice Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, and other diplomatic staff. Prime Minister Kakar will spearhead the Pakistani delegation at COP28 and attend the World Climate Action Summit scheduled for December 1st and 2nd. Joining him will be several key ministers, including Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Federal Minister for Climate Change Ahmed Irfan Aslam, and Energy Minister Muhammad Ali.
