PM Kakar Encourages Youth to Shape Pakistan’s Future

Lahore, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the potential of the younger generation to influence the future of Pakistan and advised students to confidently make choices without the fear of mistakes.

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while addressing the students of Lahore University of Management Sciences during a special session on Monday evening, Prime Minister Kakar shared his enthusiasm and optimism whenever he encounters the vibrant energy of the youth, both domestically and abroad. He remarked on the rejuvenating nature of this youthful spirit and how it serves as a source of inspiration for older generations.

Stressing the importance of good decision-making, the Prime Minister conveyed that making the right choices can greatly impact one’s success in life. He reminded the students of the invaluable nature of their educational years and emphasized that both learning and making errors are interconnected aspects of personal growth.

Reflecting on his interactions with the faculty and management of the university, Prime Minister Kakar expressed admiration for the institution’s commitment to knowledge creation. In response to student inquiries, he emphasized the state’s duty to safeguard its citizens and their properties. Furthermore, he clarified the government’s stance on illegal aliens, explaining that the decision to repatriate them was made after careful deliberation, emphasizing a voluntary return approach. However, he also noted that those who remain illegally will face the repercussions of the law.

Touching upon economic matters, Prime Minister Kakar highlighted the country’s current tax to GDP ratio, emphasizing the need to increase this percentage to adequately fund developmental initiatives.
