PM Kakar Affirms Pakistan’s Unwavering Commitment to Strategic Partnership with China

Islamabad, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, in a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, emphatically stated that Islamabad will stand resolute in safeguarding its strategic alliance with Beijing. Stressing the nation’s unwavering endorsement of the one-China policy, Kakar highlighted the deep-rooted ties binding the two countries.

In his address, the Prime Minister lauded President Xi Jinping’s pioneering vision for connectivity, emphasizing its significance as a pillar for sustaining global order. Kakar also pointed to the Belt and Road Initiative and China’s strategic perspective on connectivity as instrumental in navigating contemporary political, economic, and social challenges worldwide. Recognizing China’s trajectory of modernization, the Prime Minister posited it as an inspiration for countries to uplift the well-being of their populations.

In reciprocation, President Xi Jinping accentuated China’s preparedness to advance its enduring friendship with Pakistan. He underscored the nations’ mutual intent to enhance collaborations, especially within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework. Moreover, Jinping articulated China’s ambition to fortify an even more integrated China-Pakistan community, thereby championing regional and global peace, stability, and prosperity.
