Islamabad, In a step forward to promote agricultural growth and expansion, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar shed light on the government’s endeavours to not only enhance agricultural yields but also bolster processing capabilities and increase exports. During his dialogue with a delegation from the China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) helmed by President Luan Richeng in Beijing, the emphasis was placed on the comprehensive development of the agriculture sector.
The sector’s inclusion in the Special Investment Facilitation Council was also discussed. COFCO exhibited a strong inclination to invest in Pakistan, a proposition embraced by the Prime Minister.
