LAHORE, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has emphasized Pakistan’s relentless efforts in highlighting the Palestinian issue on global platforms, expressing concern over the recent Israeli actions leading to a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister revealed that he has underscored the Palestinian issue during conversations with various world leaders, including the Chinese leadership. Addressing questions from the media, he affirmed the role of the Election Commission of Pakistan as the constitutional authority responsible for scheduling general elections in the country. When asked about the matter of illegal migrants, Prime Minister Kakar clarified that while no action would be taken against the approximately 1.7 million registered refugees, those deemed illegal immigrants in Pakistan would face deportation.
