Istanbul: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Iran following the completion of his two-day visit to Turkiye.
During his visit, the Prime Minister aimed to extend gratitude to the people of Turkiye, particularly President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for their strong support during recent tensions between Pakistan and India.
At Istanbul Airport, Turkish Defence Minister Yashar Guler, Deputy Governor of Istanbul Ilker Haktankacmaz, President of the Pakistan-Turkiye Cultural Association Burhan Kayaturk, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkiye Yousuf Junaid and Consul General in Istanbul Nauman Aslam, were present to see the Prime Minister off.
The visit emphasized the continued cooperation and partnership between the two nations amid regional challenges.
