PM Arrives In New York For UNGA, To Address Kashmir Issue

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in New York on Monday to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The premier’s address to the assembly will focus on Pakistan’s stance on the Jammu and Kashmir conflict and the Palestinian question. He will also present the nation’s perspective on other significant global matters.

Sharif’s UNGA itinerary includes high-profile engagements such as a UN Security Council meeting, a summit on the Global Development Initiative (GDI), and a climate action event.

A meeting with US President Donald Trump and other Islamic leaders is also scheduled, focusing on regional and international peace and security.

The prime minister’s schedule includes bilateral discussions with world leaders and senior UN officials. His presence at the UNGA reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism, peace, and advancement.
