ISLAMABAD, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is set to represent Pakistan at the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, today.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this special summit has been called upon by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the current Chair of the Islamic Summit. The meeting is in response to the severe challenges facing the Palestinian cause and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The primary goal of the summit is to establish a unified Islamic stance and course of action in light of the ongoing and brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The summit also aims to address the worsening humanitarian crisis resulting from war crimes and massacres perpetrated by Israeli forces against Palestinians.
Pakistan’s participation, led by Prime Minister Kakar, signifies the nation’s commitment to advocating for the Palestinian cause and collaborating with Islamic nations to address this critical issue.
