Islamabad, In a recent discussion, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the need to harness the untapped potential of the tourism sector in the region stretching from Khunjerab Pass to Swat. This initiative is proposed to be undertaken in collaboration with the local business community and with support from China.

According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this emphasis was placed during a meeting with Murtaza Hashwani, the CEO of Pakistan Services Limited, who met the Prime Minister in Islamabad. The expansive region from Khunjerab Pass to Swat, Prime Minister Kakar noted, holds immense potential for tourism that has yet to be fully realized.
