Plot to kill Sikh leader on US soil: Modi regime’s true face again exposed

Islamabad, The true character of Narendra Modi-led Hindutva government of India has again surfaced after Financial Times reported that US thwarted plot to kill Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on American soil.

According to Kashmir Media Service in a report said that the FT news story came two months after Canada linked Indian agents to the murder of Sikh activist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Notably, Indian spies masquerading as diplomats were found involved in Nijjar’s murder in the parking lot of a Sikh temple in British Columbia in Canada on 18 June 2023. On 18 September 2023, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that Canadian intelligence agencies were pursuing credible allegations of a potential link between Indian government agents and the assassination of Nijjar.

As per the Financial Times report, US authorities issued a warning to the Indian government over concerns that it was involved in the plot to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, which was foiled.

The KMS report said after violating Canada’s sovereignty in June, India has now directly challenged the US’ sovereignty by conspiring to kill Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

It also cited The Intercept’s November 21 report under the headline ‘Secret Intelligence Documents Show Global Reach Of India’s Death Squads’ wherein the US-based news organization said RAW has been planning assassinations of Sikh & Kashmiri activists in foreign countries.

“New Delhi’s plot to kill pro-Khalistan Sikhs For Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on US soil has reaffirmed that India under Modi has become a rogue Hindutva terrorist state”, the KMS report said.

It maintained that after conducting terrorism in IIOJK & Pakistan for decades, India has now been caught violating sovereignty of Canada & the US. It said, “Assassinations of Sikh & Kashmiri activists in foreign countries by Indian death squads have called into question New Delhi’s reliability as a credible int’l partner”.

The report said that Indian army’s Operation Blue Star in 1984 was an official beginning of organized purge of the Sikh community in India, adding, “Sikhs, Kashmiris have been facing organized persecution at the hands of successive Indian governments for decades.”

The report pointed out the Modi regime is clearly violating international law by plotting to kill political dissidents in foreign countries and posing danger to regional as well as world stability through its rogue actions & state sponsored terrorism. “India has long been financing, planning and carrying out terror acts in Pakistan and Islamabad has time & again informed the world about India’s destabilizing role in South Asia”, it further said.

The KMS report urged the international community to realize that the RSS-backed Modi regime is a threat to entire humanity and the time has come to take notice of the Hindutva government’s fascist mindset before it jeopardizes more lives around the world.
