Islamabad, August 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal formally launched the performance audit framework of the Higher Education Commission in Islamabad today. Speaking on the occasion, he said universities should ensure conducive environment for research, corporate governance, audit and community service.
The Minister said industry-academia linkages will help the graduates keep up with the employment requirements. He said the government has focused on educational exchange programs for enhanced knowledge sharing with friendly countries.
The Minister mentioned US-Pakistan knowledge corridor, UK-Pakistan knowledge platform and educational collaborations with China. He said all these programs aimed at sharing expertise in the field of education and research.
