Islamabad, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning Professor Ahsan Iqbal has directed to complete all ongoing projects under Public Sector Development Program as soon as possible. Chairing a review meeting of projects included in PSDP 2022-23 in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that important national projects would be given priority in the next budget.

He said that the country is facing extraordinary financial crises in the economic arena at present and therefore, special focus should be given while using the fund as amount for development budget are borrowed money. He said that development budget plays an important role in the development of any country. He said Pakistan Muslim League (N) had left the volume of development budget in 2017 at 1000 billion rupees while today it is at less than 500 billion rupees.
