Islamabad, May 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal has called for countering challenge of hate speech and Islamophobia through development of research-based culture in the study of Islam. He was addressing the ground-breaking ceremony of HEC Seerat Center for Gender Studies and Rights for Women in Lahore on Monday.
The Minister called for presenting true image of Islam to the world by highlighting Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). He said that we cannot progress and prosper in this world without seeking knowledge. Ahsan Iqbal said Holy Quran invites us towards exploring and doing research in the field of knowledge.
