Chengdu, In a recent interaction with Chinese entrepreneurs during his visit to Chengdu, Sichuan, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal extended an invitation to participate in the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The minister emphasized the opportunities for developing technology parks in Pakistan and enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal discussed various ways the Pakistani government could assist Chinese businessmen in expanding their operations within Pakistan. He highlighted the importance of technology parks and encouraged the entrepreneurs to consider investing in these ventures as a part of their engagement in CPEC’s next phase.
During the meeting, Minister Iqbal also called upon relevant experts from China to visit Pakistan and interact with local authorities and business communities to foster deeper collaborations. The presence of the Pakistani diaspora at the event also brought to light their accomplishments abroad and their willingness to contribute positively to Pakistan’s development upon their return.
