Islamabad, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has underscored the importance of integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into Pakistan’s development plans. During his address at the National SDGs Conference 2024 in Islamabad, Iqbal called for a unified approach to propel Pakistan into the ranks of the top ten global economies by 2047.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal emphasized the need for sustainable practices, involvement of the private sector, and active media engagement to enhance public awareness about the SDGs. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive development that prioritizes the well-being of its citizens and protects the interests of future generations, positioning Pakistan on a path towards sustainable economic prosperity.
