Peshawar, Provincial Health Minister Syed Qasim Ali Shah conducted a detailed inspection of several health centers in Peshawar, accompanied by Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi and local leadership. His tour included visits to the under-construction Kohati Hospital, Peshawar General Hospital, and a maternity center in Hashtangari.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during his visit to Peshawar General Hospital, the health minister received briefings on the facility’s capabilities, including its provision of specialized treatments and diagnoses for a minimal fee. The hospital is noted for conducting 250 to 3000 daily tests with advanced equipment and offering breast cancer screening services.
Minister Shah praised the hospital staff for their dedication to providing excellent health services and maintaining cleanliness. He emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, addressing staff shortages, and improving service delivery in alignment with the standards set during Imran Khan’s administration. The health minister reassured the public of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure high-quality health services are accessible to all.
