Peshawar, Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism and Culture, Zahid Chinzeb, along with members of the assembly from southern districts, convened at the CM House in Peshawar to discuss detailed planning and budget proposals aimed at boosting tourism, culture, and archaeology in the region. This strategic planning session included prominent leaders such as MNA Faisal Amin Gandapur and MPA Usman Khan Betni.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting focused on the integration of assembly members’ recommendations into the provincial tourism strategy. Zahid Chinzeb assured that these inputs would be incorporated into the budget for the upcoming financial year, with a significant allocation aimed at developing tourism across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in its southern and adjoining districts. He highlighted the area’s potential in boosting local and international tourism through improved infrastructure and security measures.
Chinzeb further stated that promoting tourism aligns with PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s vision, projecting significant growth in income and employment opportunities within the province. The development initiative seeks not only to enhance the local economy but also to project a positive image of the region’s rich cultural heritage globally.
