Quetta: On the orders of the Provincial Ombudsman of Balochistan, Nazar Muhammad Baloch, a complaint concerning a withheld pension has been resolved, bringing closure to a case that had caused distress for the complainant.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Muhammad Ilyas Khan, the son of Muhammad Younus, had lodged a complaint with the Provincial Ombudsman. He reported that his mother’s pension had been withheld by the Office of the Accountant General Balochistan. Despite presenting a court-issued sex certificate to the bank, the relevant department had not taken action to approve the payment.
The Accountant General’s office confirmed that the complaint was addressed and the payment approved to the bank. The complainant, contacted by phone for verification, confirmed that the issue had been resolved, leading to the closure of the case as redressal.
