Karachi: The Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) awarded scholarships totaling approximately Rs. 48 million to 137 students from 18 universities in a significant event at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA). The scholarships, aimed at students excelling in Nursing and Arts and Culture, underscore PEEF’s commitment to fostering skill education and practical application in crucial sectors.
According to Press Information Department, the ceremony featured key figures including Syeda Hajra Sohail, CEO of PEEF, Vice Chancellors from partnering institutions, and Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, who served as the Chief Guest. The event highlighted the exceptional achievements of the students and the strategic importance of PEEF’s Fully Funded Scholarship Program in enhancing employability in sectors such as AI, Hospitality, IT, and Cybersecurity.
Syeda Hajra Sohail expressed that PEEF is dedicated to advancing skill development initiatives to prepare the youth for the modern workforce’s demands.
