Islamabad: Karachi (Sept 21): Sindh Chief Minister made a powerful appeal for global tranquility on the International Day of Peace, linking worldwide harmony to the resolution of the Kashmir conflict and denouncing the tragic loss of life in Gaza. The provincial leader emphasized the crucial role of peace in human progress and prosperity. He contended that genuine global peace remains elusive without a fair settlement of the Kashmir dispute. He vehemently criticized the continuing violence in Gaza, characterizing armed conflicts as catalysts for devastation, financial ruin, and immense human anguish. He implored the United Nations to uphold its fundamental mandate of establishing lasting peace. The Chief Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to amicable international relations and called upon the global society to contribute actively to building a peaceful world.
