Islamabad, January 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that Late Qazi Hussain Ahmed had been great source of inspiration for all those who wanted to serve Pakistan. He said that as a political worker he learnt a lot from the charismatic personality of Late Qazi Hussain Ahmed who always worked tirelessly to bring Muslim countries on one platform.
He said that the cause of Kashmir and Afghanistan had been very special concern for late Qazi Hussain Ahmed. He expressed these views while addressing the event in the memory of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed in Islamabad today.
Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that the charismatic personality is late Qazi Sahib must be model of commitment and perseverance for all political workers. While mentioning his close association with Late Qazi Hussain Ahmed, he said that the services of Qazi sahib would be alive ever in the history of Pakistan. He also suggested that a research institute be established to preserve and streamline the services of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed for the country.
He said that peace and stability in Afghanistan is vital for regional peace. He also said that Afghanistan is passing through a critical juncture and it is incumbent upon all world countries to support Afghan people on humanitarian grounds. The anniversary event was attend by Amir Jamat-e-Islami Molana Siraj-ul-Haq and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed and Senior Political leadership of Jamat-e-Islami.
Later on, Speaker National Assembly attended a reception hosted in the honour of diplomats of OIC countries which participated 17th OIC Conference on Foreign Ministers organized by Mr. Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Religious and Interfaith Harmony. On the occasion, Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that the success of 17th OIC Conference of OIC Foreign Minister on Afghanistan indicated the willingness of OIC member countries to support Afghanistan in this hour of need.
Mr. Shah Mehmood Qureshi Foreign Minister of Pakistan expressed his gratitude to all countries especially Saudi Arabia for creation of special support fund for Afghanistan. Mr. Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi appreciated efforts of Speaker National Assembly to streamline relations with Afghanistan especially on the basis of trade and commerce.
