Srinagar, October 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, patients on Monday said they have to suffer a lot due to the online registration and prescription system at the Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar. Reports said scores of patients held a protest demonstration at the CD Hospital, stating that the online registration system was time-consuming and they had to wait in the queues for hours.
“The hospital management has switched over to online registration at Out Patients Department (OPD) and is providing OPD tickets in online mode and later prescription is also given online, which is very time consuming. I have been standing in the queue outside the registration counter since 9:00am and still I haven’t got any tickets. What should I do with the online system when my health condition is getting worse by standing in the queue for such a long time,” said a patient, who had come from Pattan.
Meanwhile, medical superintendent CD Hospital, Dr Saleem Tak acknowledged that the online registration and prescription system was time-consuming but it had been done for the convenience of the patients and to tackle patient rush at the hospital.
