Pasni: Under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Mahim Khan Gichki and with the backing of Deputy Commissioner Hamoud-ur-Rehman, Pasni has embarked on a comprehensive campaign to combat the spread of dengue and malaria. The initiative involves a city-wide spray campaign and extensive public education efforts about prevention and precautionary measures against these deadly diseases.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the strategy was outlined during a significant meeting chaired by Assistant Commissioner Gichki. Key stakeholders, including Chairman Pasni Mir Noor Ahmed Kalmati, CEO of Pak Omani Grant Hospital Dr. Lal Jan Baloch, and other local leaders like fisherman leader Aziz Ismail, participated in the discussions. The campaign’s focus is on raising awareness through door-to-door visits and the distribution of necessary information on how to mitigate the risk of infection.

The efforts are supported by a commitment from health officials to provide essential medicines and training, while community leaders ensure the provision of resources to volunteers. This concerted approach aims to significantly reduce the incidence of these diseases in Pasni, enhancing public health and safety.
