Pashin: Asfandyar Khan Kakar, the Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Urban Planning and Chairman of the Quetta Development Authority, has committed to preserving the law and order in Pashin district, emphasizing the importance of cooperation among political parties, tribal leaders, and local authorities to address public grievances and enhance security. During a Tribal Jirga, he highlighted the urgent need to strengthen relationships between the administration and tribal communities to tackle the region’s security challenges.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Asfandyar Khan Kakar addressed a gathering that included political and tribal elders, as well as officers from the Line Department. The event, held at FC Qila, also saw the participation of district heads from all political parties and the Commandant FC. Kakar detailed the current challenges in the district, such as the presence of drug dealers, the activities of criminals and wanted terrorists, and issues like robberies and extortions. He stressed that the development of the region heavily depends on the establishment of peace and order.

Kakar further expressed that the local populace is severely affected by these issues, which hinder the achievement of developmental goals and result in widespread suffering. He called for a unified approach involving all stakeholders to address and resolve these issues promptly. The necessity for such collaborative efforts was underscored with the announcement of a forthcoming Grand Jirga. This significant meeting is set to be chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and will also include the Inspector General F, C, aiming to devise comprehensive solutions to the problems faced by the community.

The proactive measures discussed in the Jirga represent a critical step towards enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Pashin district through improved security and cooperation across various sectors of society.
