Muzaffarabad, December 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has announced to organize a sit-in protest near the Line of Control (LoC) on International Human Rights Day. According to Kashmir Media Service, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad on Monday said, the aim of the protest demonstration is to divert the attention of the international human rights organizations towards the deteriorating situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
He said that the entire territory had been turned into a prison where 12 million people were living under fear of terror and death. He said that thousands of Kashmiri citizens were living miserable life in Indian prisons, booked without any legal trials.
Ghazali demanded of the international human rights organizations to play role in preventing India from committing these war crimes in IIOJK. He appealed to people of Muzaffarabad division to join the protest against Indian forces’ brutalities and express their solidarity with the people of the occupied territory in Chakoti on December 10.
