Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Emphasizes Timely Completion of Rawalpindi Projects


Rawalpindi: A meeting of the District Coordination Committee was convened at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Rawalpindi, led by senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and Member of National Assembly, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, alongside Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry. The discussion focused on the imperative to complete ongoing development projects across the district within their set timelines without sacrificing quality.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting gathered members of the National and Provincial Assemblies from Rawalpindi and officials from several government departments. Detailed briefings were provided by representatives from relevant authorities on the progress of development projects under their respective sectors.



During the session, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry acknowledged the progress of development initiatives in the Rawalpindi district under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He noted that efforts are being made to enhance education, health, sanitation, and other basic sectors, citing the establishment of new educational and health centers, construction of hospitals, upgradation of schools, and provision of school buses for students with special needs as significant public welfare measures. He urged that public issues be addressed promptly and basic amenities be ensured at the grassroots level.



Barrister Danyal reiterated the government’s dedication to utilizing all available resources for the development of the Rawalpindi district and the welfare of its citizens, aligning with the government’s vision to ensure the provision of better facilities to the people.
