Paris: The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris, in collaboration with Fashion London, recently hosted a vibrant multi-designer and multicultural fashion show, celebrating the rich cultural heritages of Pakistan, Turkey, the UAE, and the UK. The event, titled “Spring Summer 2025 Paris,” featured collections from six dynamic designers who have gained international recognition, showcasing their latest works in the prestigious Chancery Hall.
According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad emphasized the significance of fashion in cultural diplomacy, likening its influence to that of food, art, and sports in representing national cultures. He highlighted the embassy’s commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy through such events, which he described as turning dreams into reality. The ambassador praised Pakistan’s vibrant fashion industry, which hosts numerous extravagant fashion weeks annually, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of the nation’s top designers, models, and stylists.
The show featured designers including Lenie Boya, Ana Bari, Natz Couture, Alex Le Mez, Karen Gold, and Omar Mansoor, who captivated the audience with their unique collections that blend traditional artistry with contemporary fashion trends. The intricate details, fabric selection, and color palettes of the garments narrated the rich cultural stories of their respective countries.
Geoff Cox, the Executive Producer from Fashion London, expressed his honor and delight in collaborating with the Pakistani Embassy, describing the event as a dream come true. The fashion show not only highlighted the creative talents of the designers but also supported the Kaarvan Crafts Foundation, which promotes the work of rural women artisans in Pakistan.
The event was well-attended by a diverse crowd, including French officials, diplomats, members of the fashion and business communities, students, and media representatives, all of whom applauded the designers as models paraded the elegant creations down the runway.
