Srinagar, June 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Parents along with the students staged a protest in Batamaloo area of Srinagar against the sudden closure of a school by the authorities without any reason. The school namely ‘Islamia Model High School’ has been shut down by the management on the directions of the Modi government without informing the parents. The decision infuriated the parents who said that they were kept in dark regarding the closure of the school.
“We have already deposited this month’s fee. Today we were surprised to see the school closed,” a group of protesting parents told the media. Pertinently, Education Department has directed several Falah-e-Aam Trust schools to stop schooling students after the decision by the Modi government to close down all those schools run by trust in the territory.
