Pakistan’s UN Representative Calls for Resolution of Kashmir and Palestine for Global Peace

New York: At the United Nations, Pakistan’s permanent representative, Munir Akram, highlighted the necessity of resolving the Kashmir and Palestine issues as a prerequisite for sustainable global peace.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during his address to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Ambassador Akram called for regional and international collaboration to tackle these longstanding conflicts. He criticized the existing international strategies for addressing terrorism and extremism as “ineffective” and “flawed,” urging the Security Council to take responsibility for halting the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Ambassador Akram also noted the success of Pakistan’s anti-terrorism efforts along its border areas, attributing this to cooperative strategies and the involvement of local communities. He emphasized that discussions within the Security Council should foster new ideas for resolving such conflicts.
