New York: Pakistan has declared dialogue and diplomacy as essential tools for overcoming differences and promoting mutual understanding and cooperation, according to Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad addressed the significance of dialogue during an event in New York celebrating the International Day of Dialogue among Civilizations. He emphasized that dialogue has historically facilitated human civilization in developing mutual respect, trust, and a collective path toward progress and development.
Ambassador Ahmad reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to engaging with the United Nations and its Member States to advance shared goals of dialogue among different civilizations, cultures, and faiths, with the aim of achieving global peace and prosperity.
