Pakistan’s Top Officials Extend Greetings to Turkiye on its 100th Republic Day

Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar have sent their congratulations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, marking Turkiye’s 100th Republic Day on behalf of the Pakistani government and its people.

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in his video message, President Alvi highlighted the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, based on shared understanding. He also thanked Turkiye for its unwavering support on the Kashmir issue and its stance on events in Gaza. In a separate message, Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to further strengthen its diverse strategic ties with Turkiye. He mentioned initiatives aimed at reinforcing economic ties, including the signing of the Trade in Goods Agreement and the Strategic Economic Framework. The Prime Minister envisions a robust economic alliance and enhanced connectivity as pivotal components for the future bilateral relationship, alluding to the historical and cultural bonds between the two nations.
