Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan is scheduled for a strategic three-day visit to Saudi Arabia starting Saturday. This marks his inaugural international journey since taking office, focusing on diplomatic and economic discussions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister, along with high-ranking officials including the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Defence, Economic Affairs, Finance, and Information, will embark on this significant trip. During his stay, Sharif is set to perform Umrah, visit Masjid Nabawi Al-Sharif, and engage in talks with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The discussions are expected to cover bilateral issues and explore topics of regional and global interest.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), highlighting shared religious and cultural bonds. The visit is seen as an opportunity to further strengthen these ties and to advance economic and investment relations between the two nations.
